Centurion Champions

As an extra incentive, predominantly used in Year 5 and 6. Children complete their level of Centurion whilst a 10 minute timer is visible to the class. Once children complete their centurion level, they can record the time taken on the stopwatch. With this you can create a Centurion Champion Leaderboard!

A Centurion Championship Display Document is also included in this product! Ready to display for your classes!

Impact

The Centurion Challenge has proven to be an engaging and effective method at improving children’s timetable, multiplication and division knowledge, whilst also improving calculation speeds (an important factor for EoKS Assessment!)

Differentiation

Also included in this document, is Target 50, Target 75 and Target 100. Which are similar activities to Centurion, but these only include Addition and Subtraction questions (missing number sentences too). Therefore, children who can not access Level 1 of Centurion just yet have an activity which can support them in reaching the Centurion Challenge.
