✏This is a lesson plan for a 4-5 day Comprehensive Literacy Language Workshop lesson for the book Maybe Something Beautiful by F. Isabel Campoy and Theresa Howell. The plans include a teacher script with strategic stopping points and questions for students. It also includes prompts for student responses in writing or thoughtful logs. This book is also great for dual language / dual immersion classrooms as this book is also available in Spanish under the title Quizas algo hermoso. This lesson is focused on a theme of community, inferring meaning of words, and lessons learned, but can easily be modified for other uses.

This resource includes:

☞ 4-5 day plan. ✔

☛ Teacher script ✔

☞ Strategic stopping points for questioning and close reading ✔

☛ Sentence stems / frames for oracy and vocabulary development ✔

☞ Great for bilingual classrooms ✔
