A set of three lessons following ‘Mes émissions préférées/Zoom sur le cinéma’ Studio GCSE Higher Module 2.1. Students are reminded of types of TV programmes to start the lessons then go on to practice using direct object ronouns and the superlative. Students practice their skills through a range of activities from the book enhanced with support and challenge activities as well as additional slides to explain the grammar, additional exercises to practice using object pronouns, a video of Cannes film festival and differentiated translations in to French and English. A spin the wheel game is also used to consolidate student knowledge. The lessons conclude with a photo card task with student friendly criteria and an extended writing task with success criteria to facilitate self/peer assessment.
