Application of metric system and proportion in real life. Bespoke tasks to allow students to apply their metric system knowledge to real life situations. Working out the number of sugar of each drink (Lucozade, Ribena, Coca-cola, Lilt, Tropicana and Innocent) per litre, centilitre in Drinks table worksheet. Students use Nutrition table of each of the drinks and fill out the information of each drink. Then, work out the proportion. Same lesson plan tailored for mass as well.
