My students love this marble maze project as an interesting introduction into microcontrollers.

Based around the Genie CO8 Microcontroller the circuit uses LDRs to identify when a marble drops down the holes in the maze.

Here I have uploaded the Scheme of works, a student E-Portfolio and homework booklet, and a weekly teachers How 2 to be placed on screen.

The E-Portfolio also includes full instructions for the student about what is required and where.

Circuits wizard and 2D design files are available upon request at Nicoladuty@gmail.com, however the files are the wrong format to be added directly onto the site.

I hope your students enjoy this project as much as mine do. Please feel free to E-Mail me to request PCB and CAD files, simply specify the files you want and the name of the project.

It would be better if there was a photo of a finished product . If you have an example that would be really helpful. Thank you.
