
This lesson introduces students to molecules of elements as consisting of 2 or more atoms of the same element bonded chemically together.
It is very colourful and particularly attractive to all group of students. It also shows how molecules of compounds are made and the different ratios in which atoms combine to make compounds.
The activities include students interpreting the formula of molecules and also calculating masses of molecules.
The lesson has a worksheet with answers.
This is suitable for all KS3 and can be used as cover work, homework for KS3 or revision for KS4 students.
