A complete Mental Health Week assembly and activity pack for primary schools. Two assemblies, two activity sheets and a classroom poster. KS1 and KS2 differentiation.
MOVE is a whole-school primary resource built around one question: who is actually flying right now? It uses the aircraft control room as a metaphor for agency and self-regulation, introducing children to the idea that small deliberate actions can change how they feel.
This suite contains everything you need to run Mental Health Week across your whole primary school. Speaker notes are provided and all materials are editable.
What is included:
- Junior Assembly - an illustrated, accessible assembly for younger pupils using the autopilot concept.
- Senior Assembly - the same core assembly rewritten for older pupils, introducing the locus of control concept.
- Junior Task - My Control Panel.
- Senior Task - My Locus of Control.
- Classroom Poster - a print-ready A3 poster
- Teacher notes with suggested timings are included for both assemblies.
There is no fixed year group rule for Junior and Senior. You know your children. Use whichever version fits the age and maturity of each class. Every resource in the suite closes with the same line: the next move is always yours.
