Help your kids become more responsible and act responsibly with this valuable resource. This strategy offers an easy way to help your students examine the concept of responsibility and understand the positive or negative consequences associated with their actions.

Guide your kids in identifying their responsibilities and becoming aware of the outcomes, whether positive or negative, that arise from being responsible or irresponsible.

Ask your kids to complete the “I am Responsible” sheet, considering their responsibilities and the corresponding positive and negative consequences of their actions. Afterward, they can cut out the items and paste them into their jars. The size of the cutouts is designed to fit perfectly with three items, but if desired, they can glue more by folding them and placing them inside their jar.

This activity serves as a perfect opportunity to involve families as well. It can be sent home for the kids to work on it together with their family members. Encouraging collaboration between school and home helps reinforce the concept of responsibility and its importance in daily life.
