MYP 1 – Se présenter

A complete lesson plan focusing on se présenter and physical descriptions in French.
Students develop reading, speaking, and writing skills while learning to introduce themselves using basic personal information and descriptive vocabulary.

Included Resources

• Starter Activity (Listening)
  Students listen to short descriptions and identify the correct eye colour and hair colour. Activates prior knowledge and reviews key vocabulary.

• Differentiated Group Reading Task

Three differentiated texts (blog, mind map, and article).
Students extract key information from the text (name, age, nationality …etc ) followed by a collaborative task ( building a visual character template by adding eyes, hair, and nationality flag)

• Differentiated Individual GRASPS Writing Tasks

LA: Guided paragraph with sentence starters.
MA: Interview questions for self-presentation.
HA: Write an online article for a magazine.

• Exit Ticket – create their AI avatar.
