During the sessions, the facilitator is encouraged to allow the participants to think about the topic, express their viewpoints, share their experiences and explore its applicability in day to day life. The facilitator would allow the participants to arrive at their own conclusions, rather than imposing his / her views or opinions.
DESCRIPTION
(Thoughts such as what ‘needs’ mean, and ‘wants’ mean, what are their different facets may help the facilitator understand it better. Some such thoughts are given below)

  1. ‘Needs’ are absolute musts required by one according to one’s her context - such as education, safety, security, air, water - and in some cases even food, clothing and shelter
  2. ‘Wants’ are aspirational / desirable things, which perhaps are not essential for a living.

Intent and follow up questions given in the Preparation document.
