I like this one and have modified it for AQA by adding lattice enthalpy of dissociation and also adding half the bond dissociation enthalpy for diatomic gases being equal to atomization enthalpy. <br /> We have different ways of using such cycles too - I use the Y1 Hess approach of sum of clockwise arrows = sum of anticlockwise arrows and start at ground energy (elements in stdd states datum point). Woth the £3 as are his other resources with modification to teacher style and spec. Noice!

It's an okay resource. It is one of those on the 'old TES' that would have been free. Do I think it is worth £3? Not a chance, £1 at an absolute push. What it does: Goes through most of the definitions needed for the topic (some are missing), gives a reminder about ionic bonding, shows an example of a Born-Haber cycle. I get that it is supposed to be a summary, I just don't feel it has enough at all to warrant paying £3 for.
