20 developing number-target puzzles with timer PowerPoint, standard PPTX and printable PDF, designed to build arithmetic fluency and confidence.

Level 2 builds directly on the introductory puzzles from Level 1. The targets become slightly larger, and pupils are encouraged to combine operations more thoughtfully rather than relying on one immediate calculation.

Each puzzle gives pupils a set of numbers and a target. Their challenge is to find an accurate route to the target while explaining, comparing or improving their chosen method.

This is the second stage of a 20-level progression. Across the programme, pupils encounter increasingly demanding targets, more complex combinations and fewer immediately obvious solutions.
