This resource can be used as an introduction into the case study for Music Videos in OCR 9-1 GCSE Media Studies. The two videos it features are Bruno Mars - Uptown Funk, and Beyonce - If I Were a Boy, but both of these could easily be swapped out for another two of the case study texts.
There are a selection of tasks within that give a template for students to take notes from screenings, then break down the videos in more detail for media language, representation, audience and some extension questions that stretch more able students.
It can serve as a Home Learning task as well, as it will take multiple lessons to complete.
