OCR GCSE Business Units 4 - 6

This is for units 4-6 of the OCR GCSE Business specification. However I’m sure it can be adapted for other exam boards.

This is a very basic way of navigating the course and is intended to run alongside your normal lessons, using the OCR course textbook. I used this in my lessons with my lower learners as a booklet for them to have easily accessible and to write in. It is basically just the course textbook converted into a booklet, which worked for my learners.

This bundle comes with:
• A booklet for the pupils to fill out as you go and includes: questions, activities, exam questions and evaluations (from the OCR course textbook).
• A detailed medium term plan that includes: SMCS throughout the unit, misconceptions, keywords, differentiation and links to resources
• A very lengthy PowerPoint which correlates to the booklet mentioned above.

The idea behind this bundle is that as you work through the PowerPoint, there is a correlating section in the pupils booklets which they have to fill in and complete. Every section comes with exam styled questions and an evaluation for the pupils to self-assess their understanding. At the end of the booklet, there is an overall check-in quiz that the pupils can complete. There is no mark-scheme with this, however the majority of the answers are available through the OCR website.

This whole unit of work has been designed for my specific cohort of pupils, for my specific school. We do 2 year courses over 1 year so everything is condensed. It may not be applicable to you or your school and you are still likely to have to do your own work.
