I have a need for oral blending practice in my class so I have started to create these resources.
Currently in this pack you will find:
Shopping List Activity- Segment words for children to place in their trolleys. Lots of words to pick from. I would not use all of them at one time. Use the smaller pictures. A list of the pictures as words is available.
Lotto- Lotto Boards- Pile up the cards from the lotto boards you are using. Pick the first card, segment and give to the child who has that word. Print the bigger pictures to blend for this activity.
Robot Rex- Make your own robot with a posting slot. Segment the words for the children to find the picture and post to Robot Rex. Print the bigger pictures to blend for this activity.
I spy- Give each child an I spy board- segment the words- children cover the pictures with a counter when you say their words. Use the Shopping list words to recall words for this game.
I would like to add to this resource as more ideas spring to mind.
