A complete, original teaching unit for Unit 6 of the Pearson Edexcel International A Level Pure Mathematics 4 (WMA14) specification, following Pearson’s IAL P4 scheme of work. Four lessons cover vectors in three dimensions; position vectors and geometric problems; vector equations of lines, including intersecting, parallel and skew lines; and the scalar product, angles and the foot of a perpendicular. Each lesson opens with a starter that checks prior knowledge, then has an editable PowerPoint with worked examples set out as the mark scheme expects, diagrams where they help, practice with answer slides, exam technique, speaker notes and an exit ticket, plus a worksheet with full answers. Also includes a 40-mark unit assessment with a detailed mark scheme and a teacher guide that maps every lesson to real WMA14 past-paper questions from October 2020 to June 2025 (referenced, not reproduced). All PDFs in A4.
Who it’s for: teachers and tutors of students taking Pure Mathematics 4 (WMA14) for the Pearson Edexcel International A Level. How to use it: teach the lessons in order; set the matching worksheet after each lesson and the 40-mark unit assessment at the end. The teacher guide lists the WMA14 past-paper questions on each topic by session and question number, so students can practise on real exam questions. Mathematical expressions on the slides are high-resolution typeset images (the LaTeX source is in each image’s alt text), while all headings, text boxes, simple expressions in sentences and speaker notes are editable text.
