PESSPA physical activity tracker whole-school school games

Fully editable excel spreadsheet for tracking of children’s participation in PESSPA and Schoolgames/sporting competitions across the year which allows you to track against individuals as well as focus groups including PP, FSM, SEND and EAL.

During Schoolgames external verification for year 2018-19, this was highly commended by the verifier and was recommended to be shared as good practice.

Works on the principle of adding the value of 1 to a cell every time a child takes part in an event or competition. This then adds to their tally across the year, with RAG system used to make visual those taking part or not. Totals are calculated at the bottom of the spreadsheet to show the amount of PP/FSM/SEND/EAL children being offered opportunities, which allows you to target children. I have left some of the values in so you can see how it works.

Great for reporting to SLT or OFSTED.

I have put in many hours developing this spreadsheet, so the price is cheap for how easy it is to pick up and work with. There doesn’t seem to be much offered that is similar by companies, and what is out there is priced a lot higher. Simply copy your classes into the relevant tabs and away you go.
