Pay It Forward Movie Guide | Worksheet | Questions (PG13 - 2000) challenges students to connect with complex characters and share opinions about the concept of ‘paying it forward’. Evaluate Trevor’s relationship with his mom and how it changes throughout the movie. Discuss if Mr. Simonet can truly care about Trevor and get paid for being his teacher at the same time. Compare the society and community you live in with Trevor’s thoughts about how when people give up, everyone loses. Finally debate whether the tragic ending of this movie strengthens the story’s message.
