Lesson 5 Perceptions of Africa from "Fantastic Places" for Year 7. By the end of this topic students will be able to challenge our perceptions of Africa.
Outcomes:
All students will be able to locate Africa on a world map and know some key points of interest within Africa. (Level 4)
Most will identify and name at least 4 examples of real points of interest and understand their locations within Africa. (Level 5)
Some will be able to explain what the continent of Africa is like and begin to use key geographical concepts. (Level 6)
Very Some students will be able to efficiently and accurately use evidence to show their geographical knowledge. (Level 7)
