Periodic Table, An Elemental Mysteryt

Presentation designed for potential use as a starter or a plenary activity in KS3/4/5 Chemistry/science. Presentation contains 20 challenges, each one related to a different element in the Periodic Table. A challenge should take no more than 5 minutes. In each challenge students are given 5 “clues” relating to information about a mystery element. The clues are hierarchical from the obscure to the more obvious. Students are tasked with using knowledge and scientific reasoning to identify the element. The whole presentation contains 42 slides with hyperlinks embedded throughout.
