Introduction to the Periodic Table Lesson

GCSE Chemistry AQA 9-1 (Spec 1.2.1)

  1. Identify the different areas of the periodic table.

  2. Explain how the position of an element in the periodic table is related to its electronic structure and therefore its atomic (proton) number.

  3. Predict element reactivity trends and possible reactions of elements from their positions in the periodic table.
