This is a cut and stick activity I made to assess my Primary 1 pupils understanding of the first set of sounds for the Jolly phonics scheme. Children are required to cut out each individual sound and stick them next to the picture that starts with that sound.
A worksheet for extra practice with learning phonics. S A T P I N sounds from Jolly Phonics Group 1.
Choose the correct sound for each picture.
Useful for consolidation, revision and learning support/special needs.
Useful for children who do not have writing and who need plenty of simple, tasks to aid learning.
Early Years/KS1/EAL/SEN
\n
\nSimple set of slides to develop phonic knowledge and understanding.
\n
\nEasy power point with loads of scope: guess the sound before it appears, which is the odd one out and why? can you write the sound or word which is the odd one out? Enjoy.
Flip- chart moves through stages of multiplication as repeated addition and then an array. Can be made more practical (fun) by having a collection of small pairs of socks and lots of real life examples of an array. Also children love the chocolate challenge!
PowerPoint and accompanying workpack designed to encourage pupils to use a variety of complex structures in their spoken and written French. I use it as a revision tool for pupils to use as part of their controlled assessment preparation. Please do let me know if you spot any mistakes.
A self-contained game to be played in pairs.
Use to revise reading coordinates on a grid. Best played once coordinates have already been introduced, as a consolidating activity.
Differentiated versions of the game within this pack, including use of the first quadrant only, as well as all four quadrants. You will also find instructions on how to play the game within your pack. Suitable for Years 4 and 5 (on one quadrant) and Year 6 and KS3 (on all four quadrants).
You will find a PDF version and editable Word version available for download; both are exactly the same, so download whichever is more convenient for you.
