Page 2 includes two paragraphs to read. These paragraphs focus on the sound and have the words that contain this sound highlighted. The first paragraph is shorter and easier to read. The second paragraph is longer and includes trickier words to read.
Page 3 is a worksheet. The top part focuses on real and alien words - children are expected to read, and categorise given words. The second part of the sheet focuses on a ‘draw it’ task - children are expected to read the given word and draw a corresponding picture

The second part of the sheet focuses on a ‘write it’ task - children are expected to look at given images and label them with the appopriate sound word
