Pi Day Maths Circle Area and Circumference. This is a fun circles resource, perfect for Pi Day!
The questions involve using the area and circumference of circles formulas to find the area, circumference, radius or diameter when given one of these measurements.
Students use calculators to solve the clues and find the corresponding circle and alphabet letter for each clue.
The letters form an anagram and can be unscrambled to make a word containing “pi”.
All answers are included.

• Finding the area of a circle from the radius or diameter

Print out a circles key sheet and the 7 secret code worksheets for each student.
There are 2 versions so that you can print in black and white or colour.

All answers are included, so you can easily mark students work.
These questions should take at least an hour for students to complete.
