Plants Math Goofy Glyph (1st Grade Common Core)
Plants Math Goofy Glyph (1st Grade Common Core) is an activity where students can hone their skills in mathematics while putting together a creative art project that you can display on your classroom wall. Whether your students answer the questions right or wrong will dictate the way their glyphs look in this potentially silly glyph. They will end up with a with a potted plant... or, if their answers are wrong, they might end up with a Venus flytrap! Your students will have fun celebrating plants and gardening with this very goofy glyph.

The Common Core State Standard covered for the first grade:
1.OA.6 - addition and subtraction within 20

At the back of this booklet are graphics templates that your students can use to help design their glyphs; otherwise, they can choose to create their own artwork.

Also at the back of this book is a graph that you can use to see how your group of students answered different questions from the glyph.

This is a very detailed glyph. Make sure to check out the preview to see if it is good match for your class.

All artwork is original and created by myself.
