These worksheets are great to teach your pupils about the use of the present perfect form of verbs compared to the simple past. The pack includes three differentiated worksheets and a challenge sheet, all with answers.
The worksheets cover the following:
• Matching present perfect with simple past sentences
• Identifying simple past tense and present perfect forms
• Changing sentences from the simple past tense to the present perfect form
• Changing paragraphs from the simple past tense to the preset perfect form
• Includes regular and irregular verbs
The three worksheets get progressively difficult. They can be completed one after the other or individually depending on ability level. There are two versions of the challenge sheets.
All documents available as easily editable Word documents and as PDFs.
These activities are particularly suitable for years 3 and 4 when first teaching the perfect tense, and as a revision for years 5 and above.
