To get a good understanding of how certain materials are manufactured, there are a selection of different manufacturing techniques that you need to know about, as these help you recognise how a product is made - something that can be asked for in a 8 - 12 mark question.
Also, PSI codes on plastic products and the uses of some plastics are vital aspects of knowledge that give you a good branch of information on how to answer a large proportion of questions on plastics and their uses.
