Properties of 3D shapes:
This document includes 3 worksheets for different abilities.
The 1st page is for lower abilities, where they are counting the vertices and edges of the shapes, with labels for support.
When using the next two pages I cut them up, so the children stuck in a shape once they had completed it.
The 2nd page is for middle abilities, where they are able to count both the vertices and the edges on each shape.
The 3rd page is for the high abilities, where they have no labels to support identifying the vertices and edges.
I have also included to LO’s to be stuck into the books alongside the cut up pages.
I would accompany these worksheets with 3D shape models as a physical aid.
