Protectionism or Free Trade!

This PowerPoint on Protectionism and Free Trade was an excellent resource that made a complex topic accessible and engaging for my students. The explanations of tariffs, quotas, and other trade barriers were clear and well-structured, while the real-world examples, like U.S.–China trade tensions and EU agricultural protection, sparked meaningful class discussions. Students particularly enjoyed debating the pros and cons of free trade using one of the built-in discussion prompts. The activities encouraged critical thinking and helped them apply theory to actual policy cases, which made the concepts stick far better than textbook examples alone. I appreciated how the slides balanced depth with clarity - everything was ready to use, saving valuable planning time.
