Pythagorean Theorem and Right Triangle Trigonometry Worksheets

A collection of three worksheets.

One worksheet on the Pythagorean theorem and two worksheets on right triangle trigonometry.

In the first worksheet the Pythagorean theorem is stated and illustrated through some examples and then a large number of exercises is given. In these exercises students will be required to use the Pythagorean Theorem to solve for the missing leg or hypotenuse of right triangles, calculate the area and perimeter of given shapes after using the theorem to find missing information, examine whether a triangle with given sides is a right-angled triangle, examine whether a given triple of numbers is a Pythagorean triple and solve word problems using the theorem.

In the other two worksheets there are exercises on the trigonometric ratios sine, cosine and tangent. Students will use trigonometric ratios to find a missing side or angle measure.
