I LOVE to have a stash of brain break activities in my classroom, and Quick Fire Categories is a fan favourite in my class.
- Use a random letter generator for the letter
- Set a timer, however long (or short!) you feel your learners need
- Ask your learners (perhaps in pairs or teams) to complete the sheet ]
This download includes FOUR pre-filled categories, tried, tested and adored by my year 5 class. It also includes a blank version. I like to print a couple of blank ones, get the class to come up with their own categories, and photocopy to keep in the stash.
