Teaching about race is an incredibly important lesson that we should address with our students. So, I designed a resource to promote discussion and reflection about race, racism and anti-racism. The activities are written in the appropriate language for children so that it is very easy to understand.
This resource is perfect for teaching your students to respect racial differences. Children understand the meaning of racism, anti-racism, and become excited about promoting equal rights and opportunities through engaging activities.
The activities focus on building empathy, respect and tolerance to motivate your children to build a more equitable society. Show your students that racism can be defused, and they can be part of that solution, as they will feel empowered and with tools to help eliminate it.
You can send this resource home, parents appreciate it very much and love to work on it with their children.
This resource includes:
- Page 1: I Talk About Race and Skin Color
- Page 2: Racism
- Page 3: Anti-Racism
- Page 4: I Stop Racism
- Page 5: Anti-Racism - My Voice
Enjoy Teaching Racial Equality!
