This resource relates to the AQA specification for GCSE (UK) exams from 2018 onwards. This two hour resource investigates rainforest adaptations. The lesson uses a mix ‘n’ match exercise to teach pupils of 8 adaptations that enable rainforest plans to thrive in their niche. The lesson then uses a market stall exercise to teach pupils additional adaptations of specific plant types. The resource includes a range of differentiated exam style questions to text the students understanding.
