This is a whole lesson to prepare children for the Year 6 Multiplication and Division objective of “Long Division ”. This resource includes the teacher input ( learning journey), independent worksheet and a depth activity to deepen the children’s understanding of the concept being learned.
The questions have been inspired from the White Rose Small Steps Guidance and Teaching for Mastery documents as well as the Tables Sticks approach for teaching times tables.
