This is a number of reading assessments that I have developed for use with National 4-level classes. They include a variety of question types and could easily be used with S1-S3 classes to assess their level or prepare them for N3 or N4. Some of the worksheets are fairly basic questions but others begin to ask about language techniques to encourage pupils to think more deeply about the language being used.
