Planning for a Reception class for three lessons of literacy each week for Autumn 2 (6 weeks). This planning uses the approach of drawing and writing words/captions/sentences depending on the children. We also link our lessons to the lenses used in The Write Stuff.
Each lesson provides 3 different levels of challenge - the levels/targets/expectations identified on page 1.
6 weeks of lessons in total - 3 lessons per week covering 4 books/texts:
Firework Poetry (Using ‘On Firework Night’) - 1 week
How to Catch a Star - 1 week
Zog and the Flying Doctors - 2 weeks
Stick Man - 2 weeks
