Reception / Year 1 White Rose numeracy planning and resources - Autumn term 2; week 3

Differentiated White Rose numeracy planning and some resources for a mixed reception / year 1 class (additional resources can be found on well known education resources websites)
Resources are split into days and questions are ready to cut into strips and glue into books.

Year 1 objectives:
Recognise and name common 2-D shapes, including: (for example, rectangles (including squares), circles and triangles)
Recognise and name common 3-D shapes, including: (for
example, cuboids (including cubes), pyramids and spheres.)

Reception objectives:
Beginning to use mathematical names for ‘solid’ 3D shapes and ‘flat’ 2D shapes, and mathematical terms to describe shapes.
Selects a particular named shape.
Can describe their relative position such as ‘behind’ or ‘next to’.
