Recipe Commands Activity Pack Differentiated

Create command sentences found in recipes for salads and sandwiches.

Pupils will work independently, in pairs or small groups to create the command sentences instructing the reader to make a sandwich or salad. Vocabulary including appropriate imperative verbs, ingredients and prepositional phrases are included in this activity pack.

The resources provided in the pack could be used as a standalone lesson, or after a practical sandwich or salad making activity, and prior to pupils completing recipe writing.

This resource pack is suitable for pupils in years 2, 3 or 4.
