Lesson aims to teach students about the Buddha's birth and early life, and reflecting on his dissatisfaction with wealth.

Differentiated for lower groups, this includes a powerpoint with questions and instructions, including a starter intended to get students to thing about what makes them happy, leading into a discussion of if money makes them happy.

Students will then be given an easy to read text and storyboard, and asked to draw out the story of the Buddha, followed by some extended questions focusing on how despite everything he has, Siddhartha was not happy.

Students will then be given some statements to do with money, and asked to give their opinion on them, and then say what they think the Buddha would say and why.
