THERE ARE MANY ACTUAL SLIDES ON THIS PAGE. They are your best indicator of product quality.

This is a very comprehensive powerpoint program about the art of Rembrandt, covering a very large portion of his work. Most of the slides are his paintings but his etchings are also covered. Most of the paintings involve some aspect of portraiture but I have included his seascape, landscapes and other genre paintings too. There are 173 slides of Rembrandt and his art.

EXCERPT FROM PRESENTATION:
These doctors are listening and watching Dr. Nicolaes Tulp explain the musculature of the arm. They are real doctors. They paid fees to be included in the painting. Dr. Tulp paid much more to be the lead figure in the painting. The corpse is that of a criminal who had been executed that very day. Only one public dissection a year was allowed. It was a major social event and was also open to the public for a fee. It would be a very long time until the idea was accepted that autopsies and dissections of human cadavers was necessary to advance medicine. From ANATOMY LESSON.
