Remember by Christina Rossetti - a one hour lesson designed for KS5 students preparing for AQA Love Through The Ages (Paper 1, Spec A 7712) or for unseen poetry exam questions for any of the exam boards like Eduqas, Edexcel, OCR and WJEC.
The lesson explores language and structure, as well as the key themes and messages of the poem around loss, love and death.
Additionally, we make comparisions between the meter, structure and rhyme scheme of this sonnet with Sonnet 116 by William Shakespeare and To Whoso Lists to Hunt by Thomas Wyatt, offering ideal preparation for the comparison skills needed for the Paper 1 Section C question.
