A fully resourced lesson plan for Year 1 children that helps to develop conceptual variance. Have fun representing numbers with this 'Number Hunt'. Children collect different representations to add to their record sheet. Representations include Numicon, base 10, bead strings and number words.

This activity works best when images are printed on stickers (63.5mm x 38.1mm) but can be used in a 'cut and stick' format too. A PPT is also provided that extends and consolidates learning in the plenary.

If you were looking for a sequence of lessons, this lesson follows on from my 'Representing Objects' lesson plans that are available in my shop.
