Catacombs & the perfect tense – KS3 French worksheet

A really cool worksheet about the catacombs and the perfect tense to close the module Paris, je t’adore in Studio 2 with your KS3 classes, or just for a bit of meaningful cultural fun.

It pairs really well with the Catacombs escape room!

The activities include:

• a quick recap of the grammar rule,
• a conjugation exercise with regular, irregular and Vandertramp verbs,
• a quick code breaking activity,
• a reading task with questions to answer in English,
• a read aloud / translation exercise with humorous sentences.

All answers are included at the end. Available in PDF, PPTX, colours and black and white. This works in your lesson, but is perfect for homework, revision and cover with classes who have studied the perfect tense previously. Little perk: the worksheet comes with “Mission accomplished” badges to colour at the end. They could also create their own cipher using the one provided as example.
