Overview

I designed this board game for my GCSE French classes to make speaking practice more interactive and less stressful.
It covers the whole new GCSE specification (AQA 2024 onwards) through realistic, topic-based questions that help students build fluency, accuracy, and confidence.

Each board moves progressively through questions across different tenses and subtopics, helping even quieter students speak for longer — often without realising they’re revising.
All questions use authentic, up-to-date vocabulary drawn from the new specification.

How it works in class

Students move around the board, answering topic questions in French.
You can run it as a full lesson, a speaking carousel, or a fast-finisher activity.
