An engaging Spanish bingo game designed for A1 level learners (according to the MCER / CEFR) to practice and reinforce clothing vocabulary (la ropa) in a fun, visual, and interactive way. Perfect for ELE classrooms and beginner Spanish learners of all ages.

This resource includes two complete sets of bingo cards:

  • Set 1 – Images only: ideal for recognition, listening, and speaking practice.
  • Set 2 – Image + article + noun: includes both the picture and the written word.

The main difference between the two sets lies in the written element of the second set and the addition of a color code for visual and memory reinforcement:

  • Red = feminine nouns (with feminine articles)
  • Blue = masculine nouns (with masculine articles)

If you wish to combine cards from both sets to adapt the activity to different student levels, please make sure that the items on each bingo card are not identical — this ensures that no two players have exactly the same combination of clothing items.

Each set contains 14 bingo cards (2 per page) — ready to print, cut, and play.

Vocabulary included:
Prendas de vestir (general clothes):
la camiseta, la camisa, el jersey, los pantalones, los vaqueros, la falda, el vestido, la chaqueta, el abrigo, el chándal, los pantalones cortos, la sudadera

Ropa y calzado (footwear & lower body):
los zapatos, las zapatillas, las botas, las sandalias, los calcetines, las medias

Accesorios:
el cinturón, la gorra, el sombrero, la bufanda, los guantes, el bolso, la mochila, las gafas, las gafas de sol, la corbata

Learning goals:

  • Identify and name clothing items in Spanish
  • Associate images with their written form and gender (article + noun)
  • Reinforce visual memory and gender agreement through color coding
  • Develop listening comprehension and speaking skills through gameplay

Suggested use:

  • Whole-class bingo (teacher calls out the items)
  • Pair or small-group play
  • Differentiation tool for mixed-ability classes
  • Review activity after a clothing unit
  • Visual support for early or young learners
