Single Science Lesson on Density and the Particle Model

Learning Objectives

  • Use the particle model to explain density differences between the three states of matter
  • Calculate density from mass and volume
  • Describe how to find the volume of different substances including using a eureka can for irregularly shaped objects

  • Starter activity (retrieval practice/recall)
