Crossroads is a discussion-based tutor time and transition resource designed to help students explore real-life decisions, social pressure, consequences, relationships, and self-awareness through realistic school scenarios. Ideal for Year 6 transition, Year 7 induction, tutor time, PSHE, or pastoral discussion sessions. Inspired by the structure of “Would You Rather?” activities, but designed with more depth, consequence, and reflection.

Students are presented with realistic scenarios and four possible responses. They must commit to a choice before discussion begins, encouraging genuine thinking rather than simply following group opinion.

Each scenario explores the trade-offs behind different decisions. There are no “perfect” answers, every option carries social, emotional, or practical consequences.

Included:
6 fully editable discussion scenarios
Voting cards (A/B/C/D) if needed
Tutor quick reference and facilitation notes
Discussion prompts and reflection questions

Topics explored:

  • Friendship and belonging
  • Peer pressure
  • Reputation
  • Responsibility
  • Classroom behaviour
  • Social consequences
  • Digital communication
  • Decision making

Designed for:

  • KS3
  • Year 6 transition
  • Year 7 induction
  • Tutor time
  • PSHE / RSE
  • Form group discussion
  • Pastoral sessions

No prep required beyond reading the teacher guidance once.
