IB DP Physics (2025) IA and Paper 1B Skills Bundle

IB DP Physics skills bundle for the internal assessment and Paper 1B, SL and HL, first assessment 2025: nine skill packs, 30% off buying them separately.

The internal assessment is 24 marks and 20% of the course, marked on four criteria; Paper 1B is the data-based questions, 20 marks at SL and at HL. This bundle is one investigation, design to evaluation.

Between them the nine reach all four IA criteria: Research design, Data analysis, Conclusion and Evaluation.

Log Scales and Power Laws takes the case Proportionality and Scaling stops short of: the exponent is unknown. Take logs of y = kxⁿ, plot log y against log x, and the power is the gradient. Exponential decay is left to the topics that own it.

What this bundle is, and what it is not

The IB asks these skills to be practised inside the topics that need them, so no pack here is a taught unit of the course: it is reference, remedial and revision material that supplements integrated teaching. The packs are worked, not taught: the 35.5 hours across the nine is student working time through the practice banks, not classroom delivery time.

Every pack carries a student worksheet with the answers stripped out, a teacher key with every item answered from the same source so no answer file can drift, and the editable worksheet as a self-contained HTML file, in colour and black-and-white PDF. 286 student pages and 401 teacher pages across the nine.
