Resource Management (Water): Complete Topic Bundle

Everything you need to teach AQA GCSE Geography’s The Challenge of Resource Management (Paper 2, Section C, 3.2.3) with the water option, in one bundle: 15 ready-to-teach lessons, a 12-week homework booklet and a retrieval pack, built around the same two case studies and the same dated, sourced figures.

What’s included:

• The lessons (15 x 60 minutes, 525 slides): Each has a starter quiz, three learning cycles with checks and practice tasks (every task has a Challenge), one varied activity, a video slide, an original exam-style question with a mark scheme and an example answer, and an exit quiz. There are 11 printable two-page resource sheets with original maps and charts, and teacher notes with a 60-minute timeline, answers, misconceptions, a specification map and sources. Lesson 14 teaches how Section C 6-markers are marked. Lesson 15 is a printed 25-mark Section C paper (the Question 3 overview and the water option) with a full mark scheme.
• The homework booklet (12 weeks): about 45 minutes a week in five short chunks: word work (with retrieval questions from earlier weeks from Week 3), a dated reading box, check questions, a Think Deeper task and an exam-style question. The help shrinks as the unit goes on: a full plan in Weeks 1–5, the shape only in Weeks 6–10, none in Week 12. Weeks 2 and 11 are research tasks with printed no-internet alternatives. Support pages give Tier 3 vocabulary with pronunciation, a number bank, sentence starters and cloze versions of the hardest answers, plus a parent page and a confidence tracker. A removable teacher section has full answers with level descriptors, a specification map, a “figures in most textbooks that are now wrong” table and a class tracking grid.
• The retrieval pack (12 starters + 2 boosters): a do-now for the start of a lesson, once a week. Starters 1–5 are short; from Starter 6 each sheet has four sections: A (last lesson’s block), B (two weeks back), C (five weeks back) and D (a question from another unit, to keep the links alive). Two long-interval boosters (a 30-day and a 90-day check) bring the whole unit back.
