This Teach, Practise, Extend PowerPoint resource focuses on Roman Numerals to 100 and is linked to the Year 4 National Curriculum. In total there are five slides:

Slides 1/2/3 (teach) - Detailed explanation of where Roman Numerals come from, how they are still used today and what each numeral stands for.
Slides 4 (practise) - Questions for the children to complete which include children writing numerals as numbers and numbers as numerals.
Slide 5 (extend) - Children have to apply their new skills by adding and subtracting Roman Numerals.

The resource is colourfully designed and can clearly be seen from a distance making it ideal to display on the Interactive Whiteboard and providing you with a straightforward and highly effective teaching resource. Great for a lesson starter, revision or early morning activity. It is aimed at the Year 4 maths objective but can be used at any time during KS2.

The slides can be edited to suit the needs of your class but this resource, including the images must not be distributed to others without our permission.
